Une jeune fille Sahraoui âgée de 24 ans a été blessée hier soir par les forces marocaines lors d’une manifestation pacifique.
Mlle Salha Boutngaiza était parmi les participants de la manifestation pacifique qui a eu lieu hier lundi 31 août 2009 dans le quartier Zemla de El-Aaiun au Sahara Occidental.
Les organisateurs et les manifestants appelaient à l'indépendance du territoire.
Les forces de police marocaines sont intervenues violemment pour disperser les manifestants.
Mlle Salha a confirmé que de nombreux policiers portaient des tenues civiles. Ils étaient dirigés par l'officier Abdel-Aziz Anouch (Touhima) et par Khaled Barakat.
D'autre part, un activiste des droits de l'homme a été enlevé le même jour à El-Aaiun avant d’être emmené à l'extérieur de la ville où il a été interrogé et torturé.
Le 26 août 2009, M. El-Gasmi Lahbib, ancien prisonnier politique, venait de rentrer de la ville de Tan Tan au Sud du Maroc où il souhaitait assister au procès de l'activiste Neaama Asfari lorsqu’il a été arrêté ainsi que 11 autres militants Sahraouis des droits de l’homme. La détention qui a duré 9 h a empêché les militants d’assister au procès.

A Sahraoui young girl aged 24 was injured last night at the hands of the Moroccan forces during a peaceful demonstration.
Ms. Salha Boutngaiza was among the participants in the peaceful demonstration which took place on Monday, August 31, 2009 in Zemla district in El-Aaiun, Western Sahara.
The organizers and protesters were shouting slogans calling for independence of the occupied territory.
The Moroccan police intervened violently to disperse the demonstrators..
Ms. Salha confirmed that many officers wore civilian clothes. They were directed by the officer Abdel-Aziz Anouch (Touhima) and Khaled Barakat.
On the other hand, a Human Rights activist was kidnapped the same day in El-Aaiun before being taken outside the city where he was interrogated and tortured.
On August 26, 2009, Mr. El-Gasmi Lahbib, former political prisoner, was trying to enter to the town of Tan Tan in southern Morocco where he wanted to attend the trial of the Human Rights activist Neaama Asfari. He was arrested with 11 other Sahrawi human rights activists.
The detention lasted 9 hours and prevented the activists from attending the trial.
Note:
The Sahrawi victims of violations of human rights committed by the Moroccan authorities are increasing in Western Sahara.
The thousands of complaints over the last four years before Moroccan courts are not filed or processed for the main reason of the lack of evidence.
However, no investigation has ever been made nor conducted to search evidence or to verify the nature of complaints.
