Déclaration
La situation des prisonniers politiques sahraouis, dans les différentes prisons du Maroc reste une source de grande préoccupation pour La Coordination des Associations et Comités Sahraouis au Sahara Occidental. Ainsi, le prisonnier politique sahraoui, Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI a fait l’objet d’un acte de vengeance en l’enfermant dans un cachot, pendant des heures, sans aucune raison, comme il a été aussi mal traité et insulté. En outre, la Coordination poursuit, également, avec grande inquiétude la grève de la faim des prisonniers politiques sahraouis, incarcérés à la prison d’Inezgane depuis le 29 février 2008.
Tout en exprimant sa profonde préoccupation sur les conditions de détentions des prisonniers politiques et le mauvais traitement qu’ils subissent, La Coordination des Associations et Comités Sahraouis au Sahara Occidental:
- Dénonce vivement les pratiques de vengeance que le prisonnier politique sahraoui, Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI, a subit
- Exprime sa profonde inquiétude concernant l’état de santé des prisonniers politiques sahraouis incarcérés à Inzgane et appel la direction de la prison à ouvrir un dialogue sérieux avec les grévistes et exige de répondre à leurs revendications légitimes
- Dénonce les jugements iniques contre les prisonniers politiques sahraouis et rappel que deux d’entre seront jugés le 15 avril et cinq autres le 30 avril à El-Aaiun
- Se félicite de la libération des détenus d’opinions marocains, connus comme détenus du 1er mai, notamment les détenus de l’AMDH, et rappel que la lutte doit continuer jusqu’à la libération de tous les détenus parmi eux les prisonniers politiques sahraouis
A la fin, Coordination des Associations et Comités Sahraouis au Sahara Occidental, lance un appel aux organisations et activistes des droits humains, à agir pour sauver la vie des grévistes sahraouis et pour libération de tous les détenus politiques sahraouis.

Declaration
The situation of Sahrawi political prisoners in various prisons of Morocco remains a source of great concern for the Coordination of Sahrawi Associations and Committees in Western Sahara. Thus, the Saharawi political prisoner, Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI has been subjected to an act of revenge by locking him inside an individual cell, for hours, for no reason, as well as he has been so badly treated and insulted. In addition, the Coordination follows, as well, with great concern the hunger strike of Sahrawi political prisoners, incarcerated at the prison of Inezgane since February 29, 2008.
While expressing its deep concern about the conditions of detention of the political prisoners and the abuse they suffered, The Coordination of Sahrawi Associations and Committees in Western Sahara:
- Strongly denounces the practices of vengeance that the Saharawi political prisoner, Mr. Elhafed TOUBALI, had undergone
- Expresses its deep concern regarding the state of health of Sahrawi political prisoners incarcerated in Inzgane and calls the prison administration to open a serious dialogue with the strikers and demands to respond to their legitimate demands
- Rejects unfair judgments against Sahrawi political prisoners and recall that two among them will be tried on April 15 and five others on April 30 in El-Aaiun
- Welcomes the release of Moroccan prisoners of opinion, known as prisoners of May 1st, especially prisoners of the AMDH, and recalls that the struggle must continue until the liberation of all political prisoners among them the Saharawi political prisoners
At the end, the Coordination of Sahrawi Associations and Committees in Western Sahara, appeals to organizations and human rights activists, to act to save the lives of the Saharawi strikers and the release of all Sahrawi political detainees.
