Report du procès de cinq prisonniers politiques sahraouis à El-Ayoune
Les détenus politiques sahraouis, Mr. Omar KHNIBILA, Mr. Bachir KHADDA, Mr. Mohamed BACHIRI, Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI et Mr. Hassan DAH, ont comparu, aujourd’hui mercredi 2 avril 2008, devant la cour de premier degré d’El-Ayoune. Cette dernière a décidé de reporter le procès de ces cinq détenus politiques sahraouis, au 30 avril 2008. Ces cinq détenus sont soutenus par des avocats sahraouis et deux observateurs espagnols.
Nous rappelons que Mr. Omar AKHNIBILA, né en 1985 et stagiaire à l’Institut des Technologie Appliquées à El-Ayoune, avait arrêté mercredi 17 octobre 2007 et incarcéré samedi 20 octobre 2007. Son père, Elmokhtar AKHNIBILA, ainsi que son frère, Mohamed AKHNIBILA, sont également incarcérés à la même prison et ont été condamné, avant-hier, lundi 31 mars 2008, à dix mois de prison ferme pour agression et blessure et destruction des bien publics.
Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI, avait été le 10 octobre 2007 à El-Ayoune alors qu'il allait déposer une plainte à la policer avec son père auprès du procureur général près la cour d’appel, et incarcéré le 15 octobre 2007. Mr. LOUMADI avait été, auparavant, condamné le 20 mars 2007 à un an et demi de prison. La cour d’appel a réduit la peine à un an le 15 mai 2007. Mr. LOUMADI était libéré après avoir purgé sa peine le 24 août 2007. Il a été agressé à sa sortie lors de la réception par sa famille devant la porte de la prison noire.
Mr. Bachir Elaabed Elmohtar KHADDA, 21 ans, stagiaire à l’Institut des Technologie Appliquées à El-Ayoune, est arrêté le 14 novembre 2007 à El-Ayoune. Il avait été mis en garde à vue du 14 au 17 novembre 2007. Il a été incarcéré le 17 novembre 2007.
Mr. Hassan DAH, a été arrêté le 10 octobre 2007 à El-Ayoune et incarcéré le 15 octobre 2007 à la Prison Noire.
Mr. Mohamed BACHIRI a été arrêté le 10 octobre 2007 à El-Ayoune et incarcéré le 15 octobre 2007 à la Prison Noire.

Report of the trial of five Sahrawi political prisoners in El-Ayoune
The Saharawi political prisoners, Mr. Omar KHNIBILA, Mr. Bachir KHADDA, Mr. Mohamed BACHIRI, Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI and Mr. Hassan DAH, were today Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008, before the court of first instance of El-Ayoune. The latter decided to postpone the trial of those five Sahrawi political detainees, to April 30, 2008. The five detainees were supported by Sahrawi lawyers and two Spanish observers.
We recall that Mr. Omar AKHNIBILA, born in 1985 and intern at the Institute of Applied Technology in El-Ayoune, was arrested Wednesday, October 17, 2007 and detained Saturday, October 20, 2007. His father, Elmokhtar AKHNIBILA, as well as his brother, Mohamed AKHNIBILA, are also imprisoned at the same prison and had been sentenced the day before yesterday, Monday, March 31, 2008, to ten months in prison for agression and injury and destruction of public property.
Mr. Abdessalam LOUMADI was arrested on October 10, 2007 in El-Ayoune while he was filing a complaint against the police with his father to the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal, and incarcerated on October 15, 2007. Mr. LOUMADI had been previously sentenced on March 20, 2007 to a year and a half in prison. The appellate court reduced the sentence to one year on May 15, 2007. Mr. LOUMADI was released after serving his sentence on Aug. 24, 2007. He was attacked in his exit at the reception by his family at the door of the black prison.
Mr. Bachir Elaabed Elmohtar KHADDA, aged 21, an intern at the Institute of Applied Technology in El-Ayoune, was arrested on November 14, 2007 in El-Ayoune. He was taken into custody from 14 to 17 November 2007. He was jailed on Nov. 17, 2007.
Mr. Hassan DAH was arrested on October 10, 2007 in El-Ayoune and incarcerated on October 15, 2007 at the Prison Noire.
