Incarcération de Mr. Mohamed TAHLIL à la prison noire d’El-Ayoune
L’ex-détenu politique sahraoui, président du Comité local de la section de l’asvdh à Boujdour, a été incarcéré, hier samedi 21 juillet 2007, à la Prison Noire, à El-Ayoune, après avoir passé une semaine en garde à vue sous torture sauvage. Nous rappelons que Mr. TAHLIL avait été arrêté, lundi 16 juillet 2007 à son retour de la Mauritanie, au poste de control sur la frontière Mauritanie – Sahara Occidental, et a avait été conduit au poste de police à Dakhla, après l’avoir tabassé et menotté devant le public sans aucun délit.
Nous rappelons aussi que Mr. TAHLIL avait été arrêté mardi 17 avril 2007, à un point de control, à l’entrée de la ville d’El-Ayoune, par un groupe d’agent de police marocain, dont, Mr. Aziz (surnommé Touhima, officier de la police judicaire) et Mr. ELKAMOURI (officier de la police judicaire) avant de l’expulsé de la ville le 18 du même moi. Mr. TAHLI avait été Condamné, le 13 août 2005, condamné à 3 ans de prison ferme, cette peine qui avait été confirmé en appel le 25 janvier 2006, et libéré le 22 avril 2006. Il a également été détenus, torturé et abandonné dans le désert, à 50 kms de la ville de Boujdour, le 30 avril 2006. Le 11 août 2006, les autorités marocaines, à Boujdoour, avaient refusé de lui octroyer son passeport. Le 11 octobre 2006, Mr. TAHLIL a été retenu et interrogé durant 4 heures à la frontière mauritanienne lors de son retour de Nouadhibou, puis arrêté une deuxième fois à 40 km de Dakhla. Il a été retenu au commissariat de police durant 24 heures, insulté et battu. Ses affaires personnelles, inclus un téléphone portable et 2000 dirhams ont été confisqués

Imprisonment of Mr. Mohamed TAHLIL at the black prison of El-Ayoune
The Sahrawi ex- political prisoner, president of the local Committee of the section of the asvdh in Boujdour, was imprisoned, yesterday Saturday July 21, 2007, at the Black Prison, El-Ayoune, after a week in custody under savage torture. We point out that Mr. TAHLIL had been arrested on Monday July 16, 2007, while travelling back from Mauritania, at the post control on the border Mauritania-Western Sahara, and was led to the police station in Dakhla, after having beaten him and cuffed his hands in public without any offence.
We also recall that Mr. TAHLIL had been arrested on Tuesday April 17, 2007, was detained at a check-point into El-Ayoune by a group of Moroccan policeman, among them, a Mr. AZIZ (called Touhima, a senior police officer) and Mr. ELKAMOURI (another senior police officer) before being expelled from the city on 18 of the same month. Mr. TAHLIL was also arrested on 13 August 2005, condemned to 3 years of prison. This sentence was confirmed in appeal on 25 January 2006; he was released on 22 April 2006. He was again arrested, tortured and abandoned in the desert, 50 kms far from the town of Boujdour, on 30 April 2006. On 11 August 2006, the Moroccan authorities in Boujdoour had refused to grant him his passport. On 11 October 2006, Mr. TAHLIL was arrested and questioned for 4 hours at the Mauritanian border at the time of his return from Nouadhibou; he was then arrested a second time at 40 km far from Dakhla. He was detained in the station police for 24 hours, and was insulted and beaten. His personal effects included a mobile phone and 2000 dirhams, which were confiscated.
