Le procès des détenus politiques sahraouis reporté à Agadir
La Cour d'appel à Agadir (Maroc), a reporté aujourd'hui, jeudi, Septembre 4, 2008, le procès de huit prisonniers politiques sahraouis jusqu'au 9 Octobre 2008, en raison de l'absence de témoins à charge, car cinq policiers n'ont pas assisté au procès alors que seulement quatre y ont assisté. Les huit accusés n'ont pas comparu devant le tribunal. Ces huit détenus politiques sahraouis sont: Mr. Yahya Mohammad Elhafed Iaazza, Mr. Mohamed Salmi, Mr. Lehcen Lefkir, Mr. Mahmoud Elbarkawi, Mr. Najem Bouba, Mr. Elmojahid Mayara, Mr. Charafi Salama et Mr. Omar Lefkir. Nous rappelons que ces détenus politiques sahraouis ont été arrêtés à Tan-Tan (sud du Maroc) à la suite de manifestations qui ont éclaté dans la ville.
Le procès a été suivi par les observateurs et avocats espagnol du le Conseil général des Avocats espagnoles, Inés Miranda et son collègue Lula Travieso. Aussi, Mr. Brahim Dahane, président de l'ASVDH, et Mr. Ahmed SBAI, membre de l'Association des prisonniers sahraouis pour la protection des droits de l'homme, ont assisté à ce procès, en plus d’une intense présence des familles des détenus.
D'autre part, lactivist sahraoui des droits de l'homme et président du Comité sahraoui pour la défense des droits de l'homme à Smara (Sahara occidental), Mr. Lebeihi Fekkou, a été enlevé hier, mercredi, Septembre 3, 2008, à trois heures de l’après-midi par deux agents du Bureau de renseignement général à Samara, et a été pris directement au siège de la police judiciaire où il a été soumis à un interrogatoire, qui a duré environ une heure, au cours duquel il a été insulté. Mr. Lebeihi Fekkou a été accusé de traiter avec un groupe de jeunes enfants et de leur fournir des drapeaux et des slogans en plus d’une série d'autres accusations. L'interrogatoire a été supervisé par le Président de la sécurité régionale et le chef du service de renseignement général.

The trial of Sahrawi political detainees postponed in Agadir
The Court of Appeal in Agadir (Morocco), postponed today, Thursday, September 4, 2008, the trial of eight Sahrawi political prisoners until October 9 2008, because of the absence of prosecution witnesses since five policemen didn’t attend while only four have attended. The eight accused didn’t appear before the court. Those eight Sahrawi political prisoners are: Mr. Yahya Mohammad Elhafed Iaazza, Mr. Mohamed Salmi, Mr. Lehcen Lefkir, Mr. Mahmoud Elbarkawi, Mr. Najem Bouba, Mr. Elmojahid Mayara, Mr. Charafi Salama and Mr. Omar Lefkir. We recall that these Sahrawi political detainees had been arrested in Tan-Tan (southern Morocco) following demonstrations which stroke in the city.
The trial was attended by the observers, Spanish lawyer from for the General Council of Spanish law, Inés Miranda and her colleague Lula Travieso. Also, Mr. Brahim Dahane, president of the ASVDH, and Mr. Ahmed SBAI, member for the Association of Sahrawi prisoners for human rights protection, have attended this trial, in addition to intensive presence of the families of detainees.
On the other hand, the Sahrawi human rights activist and president of the Sahrawi Committee for the Defence of Human Rights in Smara (Western Sahara), Mr. Lebeihi Fekkou, was abducted yesterday, Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at three o'clock afternoon by two agents of the General intelligence in Samara, and was taken directly to the judicial police headquarters where he was subjected to questioning, which lasted about an hour, during which he was insulted. Mr. Lebeihi Fekkou was accused to deal with a group of young children and provide them with flags and slogans in addition to a series of other accusations. The questioning was supervised by both, the Chairman of regional security and General intelligence chief.
