Six mois de prison ferme contre Mr. SADIK BOULLAHI
La cour de première instance, à El-Ayoune, a condamné, jeudi 1er Novembre 2007, le membre du bureau exécutif de l’ASVDH, Mr. SADIK BOULLAHI, à six mois de prison ferme et une amende de 5.000.00 DH d’amende. Mr. BOULLAHI avait été chargé par la cour pour création d’une association non autorisée. Plus d’information ici et aussi sur le site d’Amnistie Internationale. Nous rappelons que cette lourde sentence issue d’un jugement illégale (Mr. BOULLAHI n’a pas eu l’occasion de se défendre contre cette accusation) s’inscrit dans le contexte de la politique marocaine visant à bloquer l’ASVDH et son travail en tant qu’association sahraouie des droits humains. La preuve que ce procès est illégale se base sur le verdict de la cour de administrative d’Agadir (sud du Maroc) qui avait donné droit à l’ASVDH suite à une plainte que cette dernière avait porté contre les autorités marocaines

Six months of prison against Mr. SADIK BOULLAHI
The Court of First Instance, El-Ayoune, condemned, Thursday, 1st Novembre 2007, the member of the executive bureau of the ASVDH, Mr. SADIK BOULLAHI, to six months prison and a fine of 5.000.00 DH. Mr. BOULLAHI had been charged by the court of creating an unauthorized association. More information here and also on the website of Amnesty International.We recall that this heavy sentence after an illegal trial (Mr. BOULLAHI had no opportunity to defend himself against this charge) comes in the context of the Moroccan political attempt to block the ASVDH and its work as a Saharawi human rights association. The proof that this trial is illegal is based on the verdict of the administrative court of Agadir (southern Morocco), which gave the right to ASVDH in response to a complaint that it had made against the Moroccan authorities
