Lettre de Remerciement aux participants aux travaux de la 33ème conférence de la Coordination européenne de solidarité avec le peuple sahraoui (EUCOCO), organisée à Rome entre le 19 et le 21 octobre 2007 (Italie)
Mesdames, Messieurs,
L’ASVDH, vient d’apprendre, aujourd’hui, que la 33ème conférence de la Coordination européenne de solidarité avec le peuple sahraoui (EUCOCO), organisée à Rome entre le 19 et le 21 octobre 2007 (Italie), a adopté à l’unanimité le proposition de l’atelier des droits humains consistant en la création du « Comité de Libération de Brahim SABBAR et tous les Détenus Politiques Sahraouis ».
L’ASVDH considère cette décision comme réponse à sa demande qu’elle a déjà partagé avec un grand nombre d’activistes des droits humains, et aussi comme un appui fort aux détenus politiques sahraouis et concrétisation réelle de la lutte commune pour imposer le respect des droits humains dans leur globalité et leur universalité dont la base est la liberté.
L’ASVDH, à cette occasion, ne peut que vous exprimer ses remerciements, sa considération et son respect de même que son espoir de voir votre éminente décision activée le plus tôt possible pour que nous puissions ensemble gagner notre lutte pour défendre le respect la liberté d’opinion et la libre expression et préserver le droit à manifester et à s’organiser dans le but de faire reconnaître et appliquer le droit du peuple sahraoui à l’autodétermination que le Haut - Commissariat aux Droits de l’Homme (HCDH) avait considéré comme étant la base de toute les violations des droits humains que subissent les citoyens sahraouis.

Letter of Thanks to the participants in the 33rd conference of the European Coordination of Solidarity with the Saharawi people (EUCOCO), held in Rome between 19 and October 21, 2007 (Italy)
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The ASVDH, just learned today that the 33rd conference of the European Coordination of Solidarity with the Saharawi people (EUCOCO), held in Rome between 19 and October 21, 2007 (Italy), adopted at the unanimity the proposal by human rights workshop consisting of the creation of the "Committee for the Liberation of Brahim SABBAR and all Saharawi Political Prisoners."
The ASVDH considers this decision as a response to its request that it already shared with a large number of human rights activists, and also as a strong support to the Saharawi political detainees and also a real concretization of the common struggle to enforce the Human Rights in their entirety and their universality which freedom is the basis.
The ASVDH, on this occasion, would express its appreciation, consideration and respect as well as its hope that your distinguished decision should be activated as soon as possible so that we can together win the battle for the defence and the respect of the opinion freedom and free expression and to preserve the right to demonstrate and to organization in order to recognize and enforce the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination - that the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) had regarded as the basis for any human rights violations suffered by the Sahrawi people.
