Nouvelles arrestations à El-Ayoune
Les forces de la sécurité marocaine ont arrêté, aujourd’hui vendredi 15 juin 2007, trois jeunes sahraouis dans un Cyber café à l’avenue ‘la visite’. Les trois jeunes sahraouis sont :
- Mr. Khalid BALLA, (frère de l’ex-détenu politique sahraoui Sidi Mohamed BALLA)
- Mr. Mahmoud ELMOUSSAOUI, qui avait qui avait été arrêté hier au quartier Maatallah
- Mr. Mohamed Salem ELFILALI
En outre, les citoyens sahraouis qui avaient été arrêté hier, jeudi 14 juin 2007, au quartier Maatallah, suite à la manifestation qui eu lieu dans ce quartier, ont été libéré et plusieurs d’entre eux confirment avoir été torturé. Cette fois-ci d’ancienne forme de torture ont été utilisé telles que ‘la poule grillée’ et ‘l’avion’.
En relation avec les évènements d’hier, jeudi 14 juin, l’asvdh avait diffusé une information sur l’arrestation du correspondant de l’Associated Press, Mr. John THORN. Ce dernier, qui n’était pas joignable par son téléphone au moment de l’information, a confirmé ultérieurement qu’il effectivement arrêté et interrogé pendant cinq minutes au quartier Matallah et a été libéré après avoir répondu aux questions des agents de la police marocaine.
A Dakhla, deux jeunes sahraouis ont été arrêtés hier, jeudi 14 juin 2007, suite à une manifestation qui a eu lieu dans cette ville. Mr. Merabih ABOU SEIF, 17 ans, qui a été sauvagement tabassé et libéré ce matin, et Mr. Sidi Ould Elhafed, libéré après six heures de détention.

New arrests in El-Ayoune
The Moroccan security forces arrested, today Friday June 15, 2007, three young Sahrawis in a Cyber club at the avenue `la visite'. The three young Sahrawis are:

- Mr. Mahmoud ELMOUSSAOUI, who had been arrested yesterday at the Maatallah district
- Mr. Mohamed Salem ELFILALI
Moreover, the Sahrawi citizens who had been arrested yesterday, Thursday June 14, 2007, at the Maatallah district, following the demonstration which tooke place in this district, were released and several of them confirmed to be tortured. This time of old form of torture ware used such as `the roasted hen' and `the plane'.
In relation to the events of yesterday, Thursday June 14, the asvdh had disseminated information on the arrest of the correspondent of the Associated Press, Mr. John THORN. This latter, who was not reachable by his telephone at the time of the information, confirmed later on that he was stopped and questioned during five minutes at the Matallah district and was released after having answered the questions of the Moroccan policemen.
