Comparution de deux membres l’ASVDH, Brahim SABBAR, et Ahmed SBAI, devant la cour de deuxième degré à El-Ayoune
Le secrétaire général de l’ASVDH, Mr. Brahim SABBAR, N° d’écrou 27349, et le membre du conseil de coordination, Mr. Ahmed SBAI, N° d’écrou 27350, comparaîtront, demains, Mercredi 20 décembre 2006, devant la cours de deuxième degré, à El-Ayoune. Cette information vient de nous être communiqué par les deux accusés, qui sont actuellement en détention à la Prison Noire.
Nous rappelons que Mr. Brahim SABBAR et Ahmed SBAI avaient été arrêtés, en compagnie de l’ex – détenu politique sahraoui, Ahmed Mahmoud HADDI ELKAINAN, et son frère, Mohamed Lamine HADDI, le 07 juin 2006, à l’entrée de la ville d’El-Ayoune, à leur retour de la ville de Boujdour où ils avaient assisté à la création de la section de l’ASVDH. Mr. SABBAR avait été condamné à deux ans ferme de prison, dans un premier procès, en compagnie de Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud HADDI (3ans) et Mohamed Lamine HADDI (1an avec sursis) , le 27 juin 2006, par la cour de première instance, pour de fausses charges. Ces lourdes sentences seront confirmées par la cour de deuxième degré le 20 juillet 2006, (voir ici : http://www.asvdh.net/2006/07/20/lettre-dinformation/).
Mr. SABBAR s’attend à un deuxième procès, en compagnie de Mr. SBAI, qui débutera, donc, demain.
Plusieurs ONGs internationales des droits humains ont lancés des campagnes pour la libération de Mr. SABBAR et Mr. SBAI, ainsi que d’autres détenus politiques sahraouis dans les prisons du Maroc. (Voir ici :

Appearance of two members the ASVDH, Brahim SABBAR, and Ahmed SBAI, before the court of second degree in El-Ayoune
The secretary general of the ASVDH, Mr. Brahim SABBAR, N° of nut 27349, and the member of the coordination council, Mr. Ahmed SBAI, N° of nut 27350, will appear, tomorrow, Wednesday December 20, 2006, before the court of second degree, in El-Ayoune.
This information has been just communicated to us by both detainees, who are currently in detention in the Black Prison.
We recall that Mr. Brahim SABBAR and Ahmed SBAI had been detained, accompanied by the ex – Sahrawi political prisoner, Ahmed Mahmoud HADDI ELKAINAN, and his brother, Mohamed Lamine HADDI, on June 7, 2006, at the entry of El-Ayoune, on their return from the town of Boujdour where they had attended the creation of a section of the ASVDH. Mr. SABBAR had been condemned to two years of prison, in a first lawsuit, in company of Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud HADDI (3 years) and Mohamed Lamine HADDI (1 year with deferment), on June 27, 2006, by the court of first court, for false charges. (See here:

These heavy sentences will be confirmed by the court of second degree on July 20, 2006, (see here: http://www.asvdh.net/2006/07/20/lettre-dinformation/).
Mr. SABBAR expects a second lawsuit, in company of Mr. SBAI, who will begin, therefore, tomorrow.
Several international human rights organizations launched campaigns for the release of Mr. SABBAR and Mr. SBAI, as well as other Sahrawi political prisoners in the prisons of Morocco. See here:
