Arrestation de trois citoyens Sahraouis au point de contrôle à l'entrée nord de la ville d’El-Ayoune
La police marocaine a arrêté, aujourd'hui jeudi 15 mai 2008, vers trois heures de l'après-midi, trois citoyens Sahraouis au point de contrôle à l'entrée nord de la ville d’El-Ayoune.
Mr. Lehbib Elballal HADDA (ancienne victime de disparition forcée), son frère Mr. Hamma Elballal HADDA (un des survivants de l'enfer du bagne secret Kalaat Megounat où il a passé près de quinze ans, entre 1976 et 1991) et sa soeur Mme. Akhanath Elballal HADDI, à bord d'une voiture en voyage vers le nord, après une visite à leur famille à El-Ayoune, lorsque la police les a arrêté à un point de contrôle et les a transféré au siège de la Wilaya de la sûreté d’El-Ayoune, où ils sont toujours en détention.
Il est susceptible que la raison de l'arrestation de ces trois frères est leur récente visite en Mauritanie, il y a quelques jours, en plus des liens de parenté avec Mr. Ahmed BATAL, l'un des dirigeants du Front Polisario et ancien ministre de l'Information. Et jusqu’à ce moment aucune n’a encore été révélée sur le sort de ces trois frères.

Arrest of three citizens Sahrawis at the checkpoint at the northern entrance of the town of El-Ayoune
The Moroccan police arrested today, Thursday May 15 2008, around three o'clock in the afternoon, three Sahrawi citizens at a checkpoint at the northern entrance of the town of El-Ayoune.
Mr. Lehbib Elballal HADDA (former victim of enforced disappearance), his brother Mr. Hamma Elballal HADDA (one of the survivors of the hell of the secret prison “Kalaat Megounat” where he spent almost fifteen years between 1976 and 1991) and her sister Mrs. Akhanath Elballal HADDI, aboard a car travelling north after a visit to their family in El-Ayoune, when police arrested them at a checkpoint and transferred them to the headquarters of the Wilaya of the police of El-Ayoune, where they remain in detention.
It is likely that the reason for the arrest of these three brothers is their recent visit to Mauritania, a few days ago, in addition to the kinship with Mr. Ahmed BATAL, a leader of the Polisario Front and former Minister of Information. And until now none has yet been revealed about the fate of these three brothers.
