Répression et arrestation à El-Ayoune
Une manifestation appelant au respect du droit du peuple sahraoui à l’autodétermination a été organisée, hier mardi 25 mars 2008 entre 21 :00 et 22 :30 GMT, par un groupe de jeunes sahraouis, dans le quartier Maatallah. Cette manifestation a été violement réprimé ce qui a résulté en un nombre de victimes et l’arrestation du jeune sahraoui, Mr. Rachid Ben Lahcen Ben Hammad SALKI. D’après la famille de ce dernier, un groupe ‘agent de police, commandé par l’officier de la police judiciaire Mr. Aziz ANNOUCHE, est entré dans la maison par force et sans autorisation pour arrêter leur fils Rachid. Selon d’autres familles résidentes dans le quartier Maatallah, les agents de police ont mené, aujourd’hui mercredi 26 mars 2008, une campagne de recherche contre les trois jeunes sahraouis, Mr. Baba ANDOUR, Mr. Mahmoud ELBALLAL et Mr. Mansour DARIF. En outre, un grand nombre de jeunes sahraouis, garçons et filles, ont été averti de venir à laWaliya de la sûreté d’El-Ayoune, aujourd’hui, sans aucune autre précision. Les familles de ces jeunes ont exprimé leurs craintes que leurs enfants subissent des traitements frustrants.

A demonstration calling for respect for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination was held yesterday Tuesday, March 25, 2008 between 21: 00 and 22: 30 GMT, by a group of young Sahrawi at Maatallah district. This event was violently oppressed which resulted in a number of casualties and the arrest of a young Sahrawi, Mr. Rachid Ben Lahcen Ben Hammad SALKI. According to the family of the latter, a group of police officers, ordered by the judicial police officer Mr. Aziz ANNOUCHE entered their house by force and without an authorization to arrest their son Rashid. According to other families resident in the Maatallah district, police officers have conducted today Wednesday, March 26, 2008, a research campaign against three young Sahrawi, Mr. Baba ANDOUR, Mr. Mahmoud ELBALLAL and Mr. Mansour DARIF. In addition, a large number of young Sahrawi, boys and girls, have been advised to come to the Waliya of police in El-Ayoune, today, without any further specification. The families of these young people have expressed their fears that their children may undergo frustrating treatments.
