Les étudiants sahraouis à Agadir devant la cour
Les étudiants sahraouis, détenus récemment à Agadir ont comparu, aujourd’hui lundi 21 mai 2007, devant la cour de première instance, à Agadir, pour les accusations suivantes : Agression, Blessure et incitation.
Les cinq étudiants sahraouis : Mr. Ahmed CHEINE (étudiant en 1ère année droit), Mr. Mahmoud ELFILALI (étudiant en 3ème année histoire), (Mr. Mohamed CHOUEIAAR (étudiants en 3ème année littérature arabe), Mr. Lahoucine LEMGHEIFAR (étudiant en 2ème année littérature française) et Mr. Abazid KADAL (étudiant en 1ère année Histoire), avaient été arrêtés le jeudi 03 mai 2007, incarcérés à la prison locale d’Inezgane le vendredi 04 mai 2007, souffrent de blessures graves suite aux affrontement qui se sont produits à l’Université IBNO ZOHR à Agadir, et mènent leur grève de la faim illimitée.
La cour de première instance d’Agadir a décidé de reporter le procès au mercredi 23 mai 2007.
Dans le contexte d’une large campagne d’arrestations contre les étudiants sahraouis, dans les universités du Maroc, un autre étudiant sahraoui, Mr. Mohamed Salem LEMBARKI, étudiant en 2ème année DESA, a été enlevé, hier, dimanche 20 mai 2007, à 3 :00 du matin, devant la Cité Universitaire Souissi I, à Rabat. Après être soumis à un long interrogatoire, mr. LEMBARKI a été remis en liberté..
Par ailleurs, le juriste sahraoui et coprésident du CORELSO, Mr. Ennaâma ASFARI, a été libéré, tard dans la nuit d’hier dimanche 20 mai 2007. En outre, la cour d’appel d’El-Ayoune, a prononcé sa sentence à l’égard de ce défenseur des droits humains et a décidé de maintenir la sentence prononcée à son égard par la cour de première instance à Smara, le lundi 15 janvier 2007, à savoir, deux mois avec sursis et une amende de 500 dirhams.

The Sahrawi students in Agadir before the court
The Sahrawi students, held recently in Agadir appeared, today Monday May 21, 2007, before the court of first authority, in Agadir, for the following charges: Aggression, Wound and incitation. The five Sahrawi students: Mr. Ahmed CHEINE (studying in 1st year Law), Mr. Mahmoud ELFILALI (studying in 3rd year history), (Mr. Mohamed CHOUEIAAR (student in 3rd year Arab literature), Mr. Lahoucine LEMGHEIFAR (studying in 2nd year French literature) and Mr. Abazid KADAL (studying in 1st year Histoire), had been arrested on Thursday May 3, 2007, imprisoned in the local prison of Inezgane on Friday May 4, 2007, suffer from serious wounds following the confrontation which occurred at University IBNO ZOHR in Agadir, and carry out their unlimited hunger strike. The court of first authority of Agadir decided to defer the lawsuit to Wednesday May 23, 2007.
In the context of a large campaign of arrests against the Sahrawi students, in the universities of Morocco, another student sahraoui, Mr. Mohamed Salem LEMBARKI, studying in 2nd year DESA, was kidnapped, yesterday, Sunday May 20, 2007, at 3: 00 of the morning, in front of the University City Souissi I, in Rabat. After being subjected to a long interrogatory, Mr. LEMBARKI was released.
In addition, the Sahrawi lawyer and copresident of the CORELSO, Mr. Ennaâma ASFARI, were released, late in the night of yesterday Sunday May 20, 2007. Moreover, the Court of Appeal of El-Ayoune, pronounced its sentence with regard to this human rights defender and decided to maintain the sentence pronounced by the court of first authority at Smara, on Monday January 15, 2007, namely, two months with deferment and a fine of 500 dirhams.
