Arrestation de cinq sahraouis à El-Ayoun
Trois ex-détenus politiques et deux autres citoyens sahraouis ont été arrêté hier, dimanche 17 février 2008, vers 14 :30 GMT, à El-Ayoune. Les cinq sahraouis rendaient visite à l’ex-détenu politique sahraoui, Mr. Sidi Mohamed ALOUATE quand ils sont arrêtés devant la maison de celui-ci. Quatre de ces cinq détenus (Mr. Abderrahmane Bougarfa, Mr. Brahim Labrass, Mr. Mustapha Labrasse et Mr. Abdellahi Ould Nini) ont été libéré tard dans la nuit (vers 2 :30 du matin) alors que Mr. Elkouri Mohamed Ould Rais est toujours en état d’arrestation.
Les quatre sahraouis libérés en affirmé avoir été humilié et insulté à la Wilaya de la sûreté, à El-Ayoune, et ont été accusé d’organiser une réunion chez Mr. Alouate dans le but d’organiser des manifestations à l’occasion du 27 février (date de la déclaration de la RASD

Arrest of five Sahrawi at El-Ayoun
Three former political prisoners and two other Saharawi citizens were arrested yesterday, Sunday, February 17, 2008, around 14: 30 GMT, at El-Ayoune. The five Sahrawi were visiting the former Saharawi political prisoner, Mr. Sidi Mohamed ALOUATE when they were arrested in front of the house of the latter. Four of the five detainees (Mr. Abderrahmane Bougarfa, Mr. Brahim Labrass, Mr. Mustapha Labrasse and Mr. Abdellahi Ould Nini) were released late at night (around 2: 30 am) while Mr. Elkouri Mohamed Ould Rais is still under arrest.
The four Sahrawi released claimed to have been insulted and humiliated in the Wilaya of the security, at El-Ayoune, and have been accused of organizing a meeting at Mr. Aloute’s house with the aim of organising demonstrations on the occasion of February 27 (date of the declaration of the SADR).
